Note: We do not collect photos, videos, or personal media files unless explicitly provided by the user through the recovery process.

3. Permissions and Access Requirements

To deliver its primary features, the App requests access to certain system permissions. These are requested either during installation or at the time the related functionality is used. Each permission is applied strictly for its defined purpose and never beyond:

POST_NOTIFICATIONS

• Purpose: Allows the App to send alerts, reminders, and service updates directly to the user.

• Scope: Required on Android 13 (API 33) and newer, where runtime approval is necessary.

• Note: Notifications are generated only by the App itself; no personal information is collected, shared, or transmitted.

INTERNET

• Purpose: Enables the App to connect to online resources and deliver features that depend on network communication.

• Scope: Access is limited to functions requiring an internet connection.

• Note: The App does not upload, distribute, or sell personal data during internet use.

ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE

• Purpose: Allows the App to identify whether the device is connected via Wi-Fi or mobile data.

• Scope: Used exclusively to adjust functions that depend on connectivity status.

• Note: This permission does not provide access to personal content and is never used to monitor browsing activity.

ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION

• Purpose: Provides the App with precise location data through GPS, Wi-Fi, and mobile networks for location-based services.

• Scope: Access occurs only when features requiring accurate positioning are in use.

• Note: The App does not continuously track or share user location data.

ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION

• Purpose: Grants the App the ability to approximate device location using Wi-Fi and cell tower information.

• Scope: Used only where general location awareness is sufficient.

• Note: Approximate location is never linked to personal identifiers or shared externally.

FOREGROUND_SERVICE

• Purpose: Allows the App to operate essential tasks in the foreground, ensuring continued performance when not actively used.

• Scope: Required only for processes that must remain active for functionality.

• Note: No additional personal data is collected or transmitted while running in the foreground.

FOREGROUND_SERVICE_LOCATION

• Purpose: Ensures that the App’s foreground service can continue accessing location for uninterrupted location-based features.

• Scope: Applied only to services that explicitly depend on ongoing location availability.

• Note: Location data is used solely for active features and is not stored or shared beyond the device.

VIBRATE

• Purpose: Allows the App to control device vibration for notifications, alerts, or haptic feedback.

• Scope: Limited strictly to enhancing user experience.

• Note: This permission does not access personal information in any form.

CAMERA

• Purpose: Provides the App with access to the device’s camera to scan and capture barcodes.

• Scope: Used exclusively for barcode-related functions.

• Note: The App does not record video, take photos, or store any camera data.

GPS Location Information

The App may request access to the device’s GPS location in order to enable specific features. This permission is used only for defined purposes, as outlined below:

• Purpose: To identify nearby Wi-Fi networks and provide connection options tailored to the user’s location. In certain cases, the App may use Access Fine Location in the background while the App is running, so that available Wi-Fi networks can be accurately detected and presented.

• Scope: Location data may continue to operate in the background when features require it. Users maintain full control and may disable background location at any time through device settings.

• Note:

  • Location information is processed only to deliver the described services and is never stored on external servers.

  • All processing occurs locally on the user’s device.

  • Background use is activated solely with the user’s explicit, informed consent through in-app prompts.

  • The App does not share or retain GPS location data beyond the immediate function required.

4. Purpose of Information Processing

We process information in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for users in the European Economic Area (EEA) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) for California residents.

Our lawful bases for data processing include:

• User Consent: When you grant permissions or contact support.

• Legitimate Interests: To maintain and improve the App’s core functionality, ensure security, and deliver non-personalized advertising.

• Legal Obligation: To comply with applicable legal or regulatory requirements.

We do not retain any personal data on external servers. Any temporary data (such as logs or analytics) is stored only as long as necessary for the intended technical purpose and may be handled by authorized third-party services. We implement commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. However, no transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

8. Children’s Data and COPPA Compliance

Our App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect, solicit, or process any personal information from minors.

We fully comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar international regulations. As such:

• We do not design features or content that targets children under 13.

• We do not request or knowingly collect identifiable information from any user known to be under 13.

• If we learn that such data has been collected without verified parental consent, it will be deleted.
