Biography 

Early Career

Elihas Starr built a reputation as a cunning scientific infiltrator. Using his extensive résumé, contacts, and intellect, he hired himself out to powerful clients who sought information on confidential corporate projects. He likened his work to parasitic birds: slipping into a nest, stealing resources, and departing once his purpose was fulfilled—without guilt or responsibility.

The Van Dyne Labs' Case

Hired by a mysterious employer, Starr infiltrated Vernon Van Dyne’s laboratory. There, he uncovered one of the most groundbreaking scientific discoveries of the era: Hank Pym’s research into particles that could alter the laws of physics, distorting space and matter, even reshaping living beings.

 Obsessed with securing this invention, Starr sought to steal it. But when he attempted his heist, he was opposed by Ant-Man and the Wasp, whom he saw as mercenaries protecting Van Dyne’s work.

The Accident

In desperation to cover his escape, Starr recklessly unleashed the particles on a tardigrade, enlarging it into a monstrous creature to stall his pursuers. The heroes defeated the beast, but the chaos it caused led to Vernon Van Dyne’s death.

Despite the disaster, Starr still sought payment for his theft. He delivered the stolen device to his contractor, but neither he nor the client knew how to control it. Mishandling the unstable technology triggered a massive energy blast, which struck Starr directly in the face. 

The explosion horribly disfigured him, marking him permanently and irreversibly. From then on, the once-proud scientist embraced his new persona: Egghead—a broken yet brilliant villain whose appearance reflected the corruption of his own greed.
