Biography 

Early Life

Michael Holt’s genius was evident from birth. As a newborn, he already displayed advanced cognitive awareness, grasping concepts like object permanence. By age 5, he had achieved photorealism in painting, and by 7, he had mastered Cubism. At 10, he wrote a best-selling mystery and murder collection, and by 17, he had created a sensory dining experience where the menu changed weekly, never repeating a dish.

Holt’s brilliance extended across every field imaginable: engineering, physics, psychology, chemistry, science, politics, and mechatronics. He studied at the world’s greatest universities, often taking multiple courses in parallel. His groundbreaking thesis on cataloging and registering the multiverse earned him his first Nobel Prize.

In Love

Despite his vast accomplishments, Michael’s heart was bound to one constant: Paula Holtz. His childhood classmate, first love, first kiss, and eventual wife, Paula was the only person who could ground him. She represented life’s true meaning, something no equation could replicate.

As Mr. Terrific

When Paula died, Michael was consumed by grief. For a year, he withdrew completely, refusing to move forward. Yet his brilliant mind never stopped working, obsessively searching for a solution to the one challenge even he had never solved: how to defeat death itself.

Reversing Paula’s death was impossible, as nothing touched by death could be restored. Finding another version of her from the multiverse was equally futile, for no alternate Paula could truly be his Paula. But in remembering his earliest thesis, Michael realized the solution: if existence is finite, then the key to eternity lies in cataloging all variants across the multiverse. In this way, Paula’s existence would never end — countless versions of her would live across infinite worlds, and countless versions of Michael would always be at her side.
