As a mental coach, I help athletes and coaches to build a foundation of mental skills and strategies. Though I work with performers of any age, I specialize in working with youth athletes, youth sport coaches, and parents.
I am a Certified Mental Performance Consultant through the Association for Applied Sport Psychology. This means that I have a graduate degree in Sport Psychology, over 400 hours of mentored experience in mental performance consulting, and passed a certification exam. Because I believe it's important to bridge the gap between mental performance coaching and the latest research, I actively contribute to the science of Sport Psychology by conducting and publishing research on youth sport psychology topics. Check out my Academia page for some of my publications.
My approach to mental training combines the fields of Sport Psychology, Sport Science (specifically, Motor Behavior), and Developmental Psychology to help athletes and coaches build a foundation for performance excellence.
