Earll Dwayne (real name Albert Mutapate Gundwane) is a Hip Hop/Rap artist, record producer, and songwriter based in Johannesburg, South Africa. With over a decade of experience in the game, Earll brings an authentic and self-built approach to his music — handling everything from beat production to recording, mixing, and mastering.

His journey began at a young age, growing up around the vibrant energy of his parents’ local tavern. Seeing how music brought people together left a lasting impression, and by the time he was a teen, he was DJing at the establishment. Inspired by legends like 2Pac, The Notorious B.I.G., Jay-Z, Eminem, and André 3000, Earll’s passion evolved from fandom to artistry. He started performing their songs in class, writing lyrics in notebooks, and freestyling with friends during school lunch breaks.

In high school, Earll was part of a hip-hop dance crew that stood out as the only rap-focused group in the school — even placing second in an interschool dance competition. His first beat was made in Grade 12, marking the beginning of an 11-year grind of creating, evolving, and mastering his craft.
