Dear Residents of Jefferson Township,

I am honored to announce my candidacy for re-election as your Jefferson Township Trustee. Over nearly 16 years, I have proudly served our community, working diligently to improve infrastructure, maintain public spaces, and ensure the safety and well-being of our residents.

What We've Accomplished Together

🚧 Township Roads

• Annual paving and culvert replacements have improved township roads.

• Ongoing maintenance ensures safe and reliable transportation for all.

🌳 Cemeteries

• Routine mowing and upkeep to preserve the dignity and appearance of our cemeteries.

🏛️ Jefferson Township Community Center

• Major upgrades include:

  • Roof replacement

  • New vinyl flooring

  • Tuck pointing and sealing of masonry exterior walls

  • Installation of a generator to provide power to building during emergencies

  • Installation of a new HVAC system for improved energy efficiency

🎠 Playground & Recreation

• New playground equipment and safe surfacing for children

• Outdoor exercise equipment for adults

• Resurfaced walking track and improved drainage

• These enhancements were made possible through grant funding

🚒 Fire Department

• Continuous upgrades to equipment to maintain a strong ISO rating

• Ability to respond to structure fires with over 5,000 gallons of water

• Replaced tanker and engine within the last decade

• Rescue equipment at-the-ready on two trucks

• Completed a building addition three years ago

• Many firefighters have over 25 years of dedicated service

👷 Township Operations

• Two full-time employees handle:

  • Roadside mowing

  • Ice and snow removal

  • Cemetery and building maintenance

• Equipment includes:

  • Two snow removal trucks

  • Backhoes

  • Tractor for mowing right-of-ways
