In 2018, during a slow time for my consulting business, I began delivering for an Amazon DSP in Colorado to earn extra money. I found that I enjoyed exploring towns and cities while being outdoors and getting exercise — hidden thrills of delivering packages.
In 2020, the pandemic shut down my consulting business, so I began delivering full time. This was an interesting time during which I delivered thousands of packages in every type of terrain across the Colorado Front Range. From high in the mountains, to college towns, downtown Denver, and across the prairies, I saw it all ... and took many pictures to capture the journey!
In 2023 I took a DSP management role, translating my experience as a top driver to operating as an analyst and trainer. In this new role, I began developing the DSP Delivery Hub to build elite DSP teams.
Delivery Hub is a service that accurately pinpoints the granular and big-picture positions of each driver and the DSP. This data reveals where operations are functioning smoothly and where they can be improved. Results are communicated through text, a driver portal, and a management portal, so expectations are clear and actionable across the board. Knowing where and how to implement improvement strategies helps DSPs refine their operations and upgrade driver performance. Delivery Hub is a cost effective system for optimizing DSP workflow and driver success.

Accountability and Clarity
Your driver team provides the granular, causal element of your business and is best managed from the bottom up. Delivery Hub filters out noise, prioritizes key elements, and fills in essential missing data to provide a clear picture of your driver team. This clarity enables confident decision-making, fair compensation, and incentives. It also strikes a balance between individual accountability and team-wide success. Those drivers who are conscientious about their work will welcome a system that acknowledges their efforts.
Correlating Performance
The actions applied at the driver and route level trickle up to impact the overall DSP scorecard categories. Delivery Hub quantifies your relationship with Amazon by converting vague performance descriptors into hard numbers. This creates a historical, quantitative record of safety, quality, team, and the overall score. You will know if the decisions at the driver level are working because the overall scores for the DSP will go up. You will also be able to track the impact of any changes that are taking place.
Activating the Metrics
Once the relationship with the driver team and Amazon has been quantified and aligned, it needs to be activated. Delivery Hub activates the information by communicating specific information to the drivers, management, and ownership. The information is sent via text and posted in portals where it can be easily accessed. The driver portal carries driver-sourced content from elite drivers that explains how to ace the scorecard.

DSP text service — Text and email communication center that makes group messaging a breeze and belongs to the DSP. Delivery Hub uses this service to send weekly performance reviews to each driver.

As an expert in DSP analytics, I extract hard-to-find data from Cortex and integrate it into a single report that will provide a clear picture of the health of your DSP. Delivery Hub isn't another one-size-fits-all delivery app. It's a personalized service that works as an extension of your team. All metrics are guided by benchmarks and confidence intervals that have been established by tracking over 5 million deliveries. In partnership with your DSP, Delivery Hub will provide both a safety net identifying weak points and an action plan for building your elite team.
