If you want a secure, hands-free audio solution for active call center shifts where your headset stays put through constant movement, choose EARBUDi Only; if you need to renew the comfort of an existing over-ear headphone for long hours of stationary office work or commuting, choose APGLSXY Commute Use Headband.
• EARBUDi Only: Its greatest strength is the flexible internal wire that allows you to bend the ear loop to match your unique ear shape, ensuring wired Apple EarPods never fall out during high-impact activity. The trade-off is that it is strictly an accessory for one specific legacy wired device and offers no sound quality upgrade on its own. This pick is for call center agents who use standard Apple EarPods and struggle with them slipping out during their shifts.
• APGLSXY Commute Use Headband: Its biggest advantage is the curved protein leather construction designed specifically to replace worn-out top pads on Anker Soundcore models like the PX7S3 and PX8S, instantly restoring comfort for long wear sessions. The limitation is that it is not a standalone audio product but merely a replacement part for a specific headphone brand. This pick is for professionals who already own compatible headphones and find the original headband padding uncomfortable after months of daily use.
The EARBUDi Only system addresses a very specific frustration that plagues many users of standard Apple wired EarPods: the lack of retention. When you are working in a call center environment, you might be standing, walking around, or gesturing frequently while talking to customers. Standard buds rely solely on friction inside the ear canal, which often fails when sweat builds up or when you move your jaw vigorously. This clip utilizes soft rubber combined with a flexible wire core that runs through the ear loop. You can physically bend this wire to conform to the exact contour of your ear, creating a custom fit that locks the bud in place without needing to jam it deeper into the canal.
This design is particularly effective for people who wear glasses. Many in-ear solutions create pressure points where the earbud meets the temple of your glasses, leading to soreness after an hour of wear. By keeping the bud secure via an external hook rather than forcing it inward, the EARBUDi reduces this conflict. It transforms your basic wired earbuds into what functions effectively as sport-grade gear. The passive noise cancellation mentioned in the specs comes from the seal created by the bud itself, but the primary value here is physical stability. If your current setup requires you to constantly readjust your earbuds every few minutes, this clip eliminates that distraction.
You should buy this if you are currently using the white Apple EarPods that come with iPhones and have found them unreliable during active work. It is also ideal if you prefer the sound signature of those specific wired drivers but hate the feeling of them dangling or falling out. However, you should skip this entirely if you have already switched to Bluetooth wireless earbuds or if you use a different brand of wired headphones. The product description explicitly states it will not work with any wireless or Bluetooth technology. It is a dedicated mechanical fix for a specific physical problem, not a general audio upgrade. If you are looking for a way to make your current setup safer and more stable without spending money on new hardware, this is the logical choice.

While the other product focuses on securing earbuds, the APGLSXY Commute Use Headband focuses entirely on the longevity and comfort of over-ear headphones. If you own Anker Soundcore models like the PX7S3 or PX8S, you know that the top pad is the first component to show signs of wear. After weeks or months of daily commutes and office use, the original padding can become rough, flattened, or simply unpleasant against the top of your head. This product is a direct replacement part designed to solve exactly that issue. It features a curved end clip design that follows the existing layout of the headset, ensuring the pad sits neatly and securely without interfering with the rest of the headphone structure.
The material choice here is significant for long-duration wear. The outer layer is made of protein leather, which offers a smooth finish that feels gentler on the skin compared to worn-out fabric or cracked synthetic materials. This is crucial for call center workers or commuters who spend hours with the headphones on. The curvature of the pad is engineered to reduce pressure points at the cushion line, distributing weight more evenly across the scalp. Instead of replacing the entire expensive pair of headphones, you can perform routine care by swapping just this single pad. The dimensions provided indicate a size of approximately 145 x 90 x 36 mm, which fits the upper area of the compatible models precisely.
This product is intended for users who already possess the specific headphones it is designed for. It is not a universal accessory for all headbands. If your current headphones feel heavy, hot, or uncomfortable because the top cushion has degraded, this pad can restore the "new" feeling without the cost of a new unit. It helps maintain the aesthetic of the headset as well, keeping the look well-kept. However, if you do not own the PX7S3 or PX8S models, or if you are looking for a complete set of headphones rather than a spare part, this item will not serve your needs. It is a maintenance tool for a specific ecosystem of audio gear, designed to extend the life of your investment and improve daily comfort.

In my opinion, the right choice depends entirely on whether you are trying to secure a loose earbud or refresh a tired headband. If you are working in a call center setting and find yourself constantly pushing your Apple EarPods back into place, the EARBUDi Only is the superior practical solution. It solves a physical problem that directly impacts your ability to focus on calls without fidgeting. Conversely, if you already have a high-quality pair of compatible headphones that have started to hurt your head after long days, the APGLSXY Commute Use Headband is the smart financial decision to save your equipment. I would personally recommend the EARBUDi Only for the call center use case because stability is paramount when you are on the phone all day; you cannot afford distractions, and nothing beats a secure fit.
