Eagles students and staff benefit from having a robust, actively involved PTA. In order to create the best possible school environment, we need parents and guardians to contribute their time and talents. Eagles PTA is a welcoming and inclusive group with one thing in common: We care about kids.
When you are part of Eagles PTA, you will have the opportunity to meet other parents, get to know staff outside the classroom, stay up-to-date on the latest school news, share your ideas, and (believe it or not) have fun!
What is the time commitment?
As much or as little as you want. Many members choose to attend meetings (one hour/month) or assist with events, but there is no obligation to do so.
If I join PTA, do I have to bake something or lead a committee?
Only if you want! Contribute when and how works for you. There are so many volunteer opportunities, you're sure to find one that fits your interests, abilities, and available time.
How do I sign up to volunteer for an event?
A call for volunteers is usually posted on the Eagles PTA Facebook group before each event, along with an online signup form. You can also volunteer at the monthly meeting or by emailing eagleacespta@gmail.com.
What does PTA membership cost?
Annual membership fees are $10 for one person or $15 for two.
Where do membership fees go?
A portion of the fees goes to the state and national PTA, which helps qualify our chapter for PTA grants, as well as participation in Reflections and other national PTA programs. Most importantly, membership fees allow us to dedicate 100% of our fundraising dollars to students, staff, and the school.
How do I join?
