Saddlebags

Hand Made Leather Goods

What makes these bags "Perfect"?

  • Solid Brass Hardware - D-Rings, Rivets, Buckles and Grommets
  • Less Bulk - Cover flap attached to keep profile thin at the top while allowing expansion for larger loads when needed. The distressed collapsable gusset leather allows you to cinch them down for a thin profile, keeping your cargo snug and still.
  • Smaller Dimensions - 8.5 inches wide, 10.5 inches tall, 3.5 inches thick. Allows you to leave these attached to your saddle and will still fit on your trailer or barn saddle racks.
  • Less Movement - These ride higher on the sides of the saddle and pad, rather than hitting or rubbing your horse on the sides. Ties are in the right places to securely attach to d-rings of saddle and/or back cinch
  • Durability - Made of 7-9 oz fine leather, hand oiled, hand stitched, and the most durable rivets holding buckles and d-rings in place. If you scuff them passing too close to a tree, put a light coat of oil and the scrapes are fixed.
  • Quiet - Yes, I said quiet. There's nothing more annoying than riding along hearing your snaps and hardware clink and clang every step, therefore I tied long saddle strings to the attachment d-rings for tying on. No snaps to jingle. However, if you like that jingle you are free to attach some noisy ol' snaps to those saddle strings.
