Derek Ryan - Founder

Derek is an active construction professional with over 5 years of general contracting experience. He holds a bachelor's degree in Construction Science and Management and a master's degree in Business Administration, both from Clemson University. His estimating experience is varied across many trades and sectors, and has included projects ranging from $30,000 to $13,000,000 in contract value. He is widely known among colleagues as being extremely detailed and diligent, which makes him a talented estimator. He started Eagle Eye Estimates in 2024 after noticing that busy contractors were missing out on opportunities simply because they didn't have time to estimate the projects. His goal in starting the company was to assist contractors in securing profitable projects so that they can focus on the actual hard work. Derek retains a full time position as a project manager for a general contractor and works on Eagle Eye projects on his off-hours and weekends.

Derek lives in Travelers Rest, SC and enjoys the outdoors, sports, and music. He is a member at Upcountry Church and Founder of the Young Christian Leaders of Greenville.
