FAQ

Q: Who can submit to SRW?

A: SRW welcomes submissions of papers that have students as the first author. *ANY* student is allowed to submit to SRW, including undergraduate, masters, junior and senior PhD students.

Q: Where should papers be submitted?

A: Papers will be submitted via the OpenReview conference platform: https://openreview.net/group?id=eacl.org/EACL/2024/Workshop/SRW

The deadline is 18th of December 2022 for the direct submission and 17th of January for pre-reviewed papers (by the ARR system).

Q: Can a paper accepted at another venue be submitted to SRW?

A: If the paper has been accepted in an archival venue, you CANNOT submit it to SRW.

If the paper is in a non-archival form (e.g. course reports, theses, non-archival workshops, or preprint servers such as arXiv.org), you may submit to SRW. You are required to indicate the previous presentation in your submission.

Q: Double submission: where should it be mentioned that the paper will be submitted to other conference for reviewing?

A: Please declare double submissions on the submission page while uploading the paper.

Double submission to the EACL SRW and the main EACL conference/other EACL workshops is prohibited. A paper that has been withdrawn from the main conference/other workshops before the submission deadline of the EACL SRW does not count as double submission.

Q: If the student is graduating before the submission deadline, can they still submit to SRW?

A: If the bulk of the work was done when the author was a student, it is acceptable to submit to SRW.

Q: Can I change my paper after submitting?

A: You may edit your draft as many times as you want before the deadline.

Q: How can we contact you?

A: You can e-mail us at eaclsrw@gmail.com.
