The roots of trees hold the soil in place as it fights erosion that causes landslide. It also helps recharge ground water supply, prevents transport of chemicals into streams as well as prevents flooding. So save mother earth. #ConserveTheEnvironment
Mission: To safeguard environmental integrity, improve its quality, and promote economic viability in the interests of public health.
Vision: To create a world that is able to protect its natural resources, one committed to the pursuit of sustainable development, and one with a clean, healthy environment that raises the standard of living for its people today and in the future.
Environmental conservation is the act of conserving or saving our natural resources through careful management. This means we can use the resources wisely and responsibly, it also decreed collective ownership of all-natural resources. All the land of this one earth should be managed so that the long-term survival of mankind as part of the ecosystem is guaranteed. This tends to lead to the formulation and acceptance by many countries of a world conservation strategy.
On a personal, organizational, and governmental level, environmental conservation is a practice that sets the path for environmental and natural resource protection.
Human lives are suffering greatly as a result of numerous fundamental environmental problems. A serious threat to humankind's continued existence is posed by a wide range of problems, including overcrowding, hydro-logical problems, ozone depletion, global warming, deforestation, desertification, and pollution. It is pointless to anticipate positive progress until environmental protection turns into a widespread, effective movement, particularly in the age of digital media, which has the potential to spark a revolution that will preserve the earth from extinction.
Working for environmental protection has become increasingly vital in modern times. Our campaign: An Environmental Conservation campaign, seeks to protect the environment from further deterioration is clarified by the following considerations: To reduce air, water, and land pollution, facilitate the conservation of natural resources for our future generations, ensure the protection of biodiversity, and implement sustainable development. All of which restore the ecological balance, saving our planet from harmful repercussions of global warming.
The attendees of our campaign are criminology students from Southern Mindanao College, some representatives of the Philippine National Police and Philippine Army. It will be held at Barangay Manga, Pagadian City. We also have guest speakers from the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR - Region IX) and the Barangay Captain of Manga to guide us during the said event.
Mount Manga tree planting is an event that encourages people to conserve the earth by planting trees located around barangay Manga, Pagadian City. The event costs around ₱20,000.00, it accommodates the needs of the volunteers and materials required to make the event possible. Asenso Pagadian, an official Facebook page by the government of Pagadian City has posted documentations of the said event.
STEPS TO CONSERVE THE ENVIRONMENT
Dig a hole two to three times the width of the root ball. Test the depth of the hole by setting the tree in it. Don’t get it too deep — you want the soil line right where it is on the tree in the container. The one in the photo above is perfect.

In general, you want to disturb the roots as little as possible. But if you take the tree out of its container and the roots are potbound and circling as in the photo above, loosen and tease them out with your hands. This will stop them from circling and help them to grow out into the surrounding soil. Prune off any damaged roots at this time, too.

Set the tree into the hole, making sure the root collar is at the correct level. Backfill the hole halfway with the original soil, then fill the hole with water as the photo above shows. Wait for the water to soak into the soil and then finish filling in the hole with soil.

Once the tree’s in the ground, top the soil with a 2- to 4-in. layer of organic mulch, such as wood, compost or shredded leaves, as you can see in the photo above.
