The East Asian Conference on Algebraic Topology (EACAT) is a biannual conference on the broad subject of Algebraic Topology. The first EACAT was held in Seoul (Seoul National University) in 2007, and the subsequence ones held at Singapore (National University of Singapore) in 2008, Hanoi (Vietnam National University) in 2009, Tokyo (University of Tokyo) in 2011, Beijing (Chinese Academy of Sciences) in 2013, Daejeon (National Institute of Mathematical Sciences) in 2015, and India (IISER Mohali) in 2017. The eighth conference of this series will be held in Vietnam at Hanoi University of Science from 14th to 18th December 2020. The conference is organised jointly by Vietnam National University and Vietnam Institute for Advanced Study in Mathematics.
