Q1: How close are the studios from the airport?
A1: About 1 mile. You have the option of taking the bus from the airport to E1 (payment in cash) or taxi or walk.
Q2: How close are the studios from the beach?
A2: The studios are very close to the beach, from leaving the studio door and taking a lift downstairs, it should take around 10 minutes.
Q3: Any Parking?
A3: E1 charges £25 a night for parking. If you are fortunate to stay Friday night to Sunday morning, it is free to park between Friday 3.30pm and Sunday midnight at the MOT test centre a few minutes walk from the E1 (between the beach and E1). Some guests have previously parked in La Linea and walked across the border. There are other car park options in Gibraltar but they are all expensive.
Q4: What are the Check-in and Check-out Times?
A4: The default is: check-in is 3pm and check-out is 10am. If you need to check-in earlier or check-out later, feel free to ask. The flexibility is always subject to the cleaner's availability and if we have a check-out and check-in the same day.
Q5: Is there room service?
A5: You can get hold of the telephone number of the Freska menu downstairs on the ground floor.
Q6: Are there Spa facilities, swimming pool and gym on-site?
A6: There are in the basement but it is currently £40 for maximum 2 hours.
Q7: Are the studios suitable for wheel-chair users?
A7: We have had guests with wheelchair access stay in the past (and rebooked), there are 3 spacious lifts large enough to fit a wheelchair.
Q8: Can the studios store luggage if guests arrive early or need to stay longer?
A8: The concierge on the ground floor can look after luggage for guests until around 5pm when the concierge desk is unmanned - please ask the concierge desk when the luggage must be picked up by.
Q9: Can guests check-in early or checkout-later?
A9: For early check-in this depends if we have a same day check-out and cleaner's availability. Always check messages on day as I will let you know when the cleaner is finished with the studio. In terms of checking out later, this is also subject to thee cleaner's availability and if we have a sam day check-in. The latest check-out time is normally around 11am to 11.30pm.
