Overall Work Immersion Experience

One of the most significant aspects of my experience has been the opportunity to observe firsthand how the Sangguniang Bayan functions as a legislative body. I have been able to attend a Sangguniang Bayan session and a public hearing. It has been fascinating to see how different perspectives are brought to the table and how compromises are reached in the interest of the community. I also had the opportunity to familiarize myself with local ordinances, resolutions, and other legislative documents.

My experience was both informative and enriching. Throughout my time there, I have also gained practical experience in the day-to-day operations of the Sangguniang Bayan office. I have assisted with legislative tasks such as filing documents, and preparing their copies. These tasks may seem routine, but they are essential to ensuring that the office runs smoothly and effectively. 

Overall, my work immersion experience at the Sanguniang Bayan Office, I have gained valuable skills and insights that will serve me well in my future endeavors, and have come away with a deeper understanding of the importance of public service and the role of local government in shaping our community
