I play traditional Scandinavian dance music on Swedish bagpipes and Nordic folk flutes. I play solo and with the duo Ur Skogen with Emelie Waldken, with focus on modal music and non-tempered scales.
I am board member and regular dance teacher at the local dance association Leikarringen i BUL Oslo.
Growing up in Uppsala, I learned folk dance with the local group Philochoros. I have taught the weekly dance course in Uppsala, as well as numerous well-received workshops throughout Europe. I always work to bring awareness to the dancers' own movement and how they relate to other dancers and the music.
