FROM THE DESK OF THE PRINCIPAL

It is a moment of great pleasure and honour for me to announce the rejuvenation of our College magazine “Barnika” in 2020 through its online edition to kindle the imaginations and creativity of our blossoming buds.

I appreciate every student who shared their expression through their active contribution to this magazine.

I congratulate the members of the Magazine Committee and the Editorial Board for their tireless effort, commendable planning and dedicated team work to reflect the ideas and express the thoughts of our beloved students. My special appreciation to these motivated team of faculties who have shouldered the responsibility of this arduous task and accomplished most effectively.

I express my deep sense of gratitude to all the Hon’ble members of the Governing Body of our College for encouraging us in this endeavor under pandemic situation.

We, at “Barnika”, try to provide as platform to our students and encourage them to express their imaginations, thoughts and creative potential through articles, stories, poems, sketches, pictures etc. The latent talent of the green minds can get an exposure through “Barnika”.

N. Roberts has rightly said “If you don’t step forward, you are always in the same place”. This magazine “Barnika” is the manifestation of our idea to make the students forward towards their dreams. Since 1932, our academic institution inspired by “Sa Vidya Ya Vimuktaye” (Learning leads to emancipation) is trying to enlighten the women of the society with special emphasis on Education.

This year, the adverse pandemic situation demands a special effort to activate our students mentally, through the propagation of a constructive optimistic wave of positive vibrations of mind.

Hope “Barnika” 2020 will scatter the rays of enthusiasm and motivation and inspiration to go ahead.
