1. About the app
E-Bike Helper is a technical companion for organizing e-bike observations, basic diagnostic concepts, repair notes, and tutorials. The app is intended for teens and adults (ages 13 and older) and is not designed for children under 13. Physical inspection and repair can be hazardous; follow manufacturer guidance and seek help from a qualified technician.
2. Information stored on your device
The app does not require an account. Bike profiles, diagnostic history, repair records, costs, and notes are stored in the app's private local database on your device. TZH does not receive these records. The app excludes its database from Android cloud backup. Android device-to-device transfer may move app data when you transfer to another device. Uninstalling the app may delete locally stored information.
3. Camera
If you choose to use the scanner, the app requests camera access to show a live preview and produce on-screen sample results. The app does not save or upload camera images or video, and it does not request microphone access.
4. YouTube and external links
If you search for tutorials, the search query is sent to YouTube. If you play a tutorial or open a video, the corresponding request is sent to YouTube or opened in an external app/browser. Those services may receive information such as your IP address, device/browser details, and search or video request, and process it under their own policies. Review Google's Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy and YouTube's terms and privacy information. The app may also open custom YouTube video URLs selected by you.
5. Other collection and sharing
The app does not include advertising, analytics, crash-reporting, account, or in-app purchase features. TZH does not sell personal information. Information you choose to send to TZH by email will be handled to respond to your inquiry.
6. Changes
If the app's information practices change, this policy will be updated on this page with a new effective date.
