Growing up in Park Slope Brooklyn, Dennise spent much of her time at her uncle's hair shop in midtown Manhattan. Being exposed at an early age, Dennise developed a great interest for the hair and beauty industry. 

Today with 22+ years in the business, Dennise specializes in multi-dimensional color and highlighting. She also excels at color corrections creating natural tonal dimension in blondes, rich brunettes, and vibrant reds. Dennise Joaquim is an outstanding colorist/stylist whose creativity shines through her artistic skills when put to work. She stays updated on all the latest trends so that she can give you the look you want. Dennise has worked under John Freida, located in Madison Ave, Upper East Side Manhattan, where she assisted top hair stylists. She has trained as an assistant and grew to be a Top Colorist, under color “Guru” Louis Licari, located on 5th Ave, midtown Manhattan. Dennise has had the pleasure of working with many celebrities such as Al Pacino, Susan Sarandon, Katie Couric, Edward Norton, Cindy Lauper, and Sarah Jessica Parker. Dennise has worked on set, behind the scenes, with the Today Show, for the Ambush Makeovers, alongside the Louis Licari Team. 

Dennise enjoys her downtime with her two kids and husband Tiago. She is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese. Dennise always has a smile on her face and will present you with a pleasant hair service each time, along with a professional attitude.
