Dyslexia Resource Center of Tarrant County knows that many tools, programs, and resources for dyslexic students come with a steep price tag. Our center encourages you to explore affordable and accessible solutions that capitalize on the strengths of dyslexic individuals. Our center also helps dyslexics take full advantage of opportunities and accommodations mandated by state and federal law.
The center provides one-on-one attention to clients. We recognize the strong hereditary nature of dyslexia. Dyslexic students are often supported by family members who are also dyslexic (though they may not be officially identified). Combing through pages of online resources, deciphering forms from public schools, and filling out assistance applications may not be among their strengths. The Dyslexia Resource Center of Tarrant County helps clients wade through complex processes.
