Bucharest is easily accessible by air, the main airport is Bucharest Otopeni (OTP). A good way to reach the city from the airport is by bus. The express city bus 783 runs 24 hrs/day, at every 20-25 minutes during the day, and every 40 minutes during night. It goes from the airport to Piata Unirii (Union Square) in downtown. One should get off the bus at Piata Romana (Roman Square). Ticket cards can be bought at the airport; the price for a card with 2 rides is 7 lei (approx 1.6 euro), and it must be checked at the electronic reader in the bus.
