How long do I have to enrol in lessons?

Our studio year runs from September - June. Lessons are every week and based on a month to month basis. You can cancel lessons at anytime for the following month. For example, if it is October and you would like to cancel lessons, the cancellation becomes effective November 1st. 

How much are lessons and how do I pay?

Lessons are $45.00 per 45 minutes, and $30.00 per 30 minutes. Lessons are pre-paid for on the first of the month for all lessons that fall within that month. 

What do I have to purchase outside of my tuition?

All students are required to obtain their own instrument to practice with at home, as well as any books or additional supplies requested by the teacher. 

What if I have to miss a lesson?

If you are away for a lesson for any reason, with notice or without, your teacher will make you a personalized video lesson for you to watch before your next lesson. We do not offer credit, refunds or makeup lessons for missed lessons. 

What if my teacher is away?

If your teacher is away, a sub will be provided to teach the lesson. If a sub is not available, the lesson will be cancelled and you will receive a credit for the following month. 

When can students perform?

Students are able to perform in our Winter (January) and Spring (June) Recitals. We also attend Open Mics and host masterclasses for additional opportunities for students to perform. 

Do you offer summer classes?

Our studio year ends in June, private lessons are not offered in the summer.
