Reading for Truth in the Age of Information -- 8:00 to 10:15am - Tuesday

In this workshop, participants will gain experience in letting inquiry drive conversation an investigation of the differences among facts, information, opinion, and ideas. We will examine how to value and privilege student curiosity while helping to gird their paths to answers against misinformation. Specific examples and resources will be shared. Our time will be spent in investigation and creation mode.

Breaking Habits – Challenging the Traditional School Status Quo -- 1:00-4:00PM - Tuesday

Going to school is one of the most ingrained habits of the American culture. In our considerable efforts to change, reform and shift, educators have struggled to get those efforts to stick. Join Diana for an exploration of guiding questions, potential pathways and advice on how to not only propose and attempt change, but get that change to take hold and form a new way to go to school in your community.
