Our technology needs assessment survey will present data regarding applications and software used by an educator like you, who’s teaching in the 3rd through 5th grades core subjects. We will compare responses to a variety of questions regarding the latest and most efficient iPad applications used in today's classroom, to provide you with a variety of approaches used in other classrooms to maximize efficiency, giving you accurate results to identifying training needs for each of those applications. Furthermore, giving users important feedback of unknown features and present the users with techniques and strategies to capitalize on the software used.
Participants intended for the technology needs assessment survey are be 3rd - 5th grade Math, Social Studies, English Language Arts, and Science teachers with a Bachelor's degree in their field from at least three different school districts and campuses. Experience in teaching and technology stemming from a younger to older generation of educators where a stark contrast of the technology literate and traditional teachers exists including where a use of basic iPad applications is incorporated into lessons and independent from innovative or traditional teaching methods used in the classroom.
The purpose of the technology needs assessment survey is to identify the level at which technology is used in the classrooms of 3rd - 5th grade Math, Social Studies, English Language Arts, and Science teachers all with various technological experiences, unlocking features that often go unused and identifying strategies that would benefit the applications effectiveness. The primary goal of the technology needs assessment survey is to fill any identified gap within the application used to provide, you the teacher, with effective training and strategies to enhance student collaboration, application integrations, and lessons thus increasing the overall productivity and effectiveness; which will also provide relevant data to ensure proper training and techniques become available to teachers within your schools.
