My goal for my curriculum is to provide students with different narratives of history. I want them to see the complexities of the subject while still find ways to help them enjoy the material. Including diversity in the curriculum as well as tying the past to the present. I want my students to be able to look at things from all sides, to move past labeling things with one word. The complexities and nuances of history are what make the content so rich and ripe for study, and that is exactly what I want my students to work with.
