Here, you can find pictures from conferences I attended. I also am an amateur photographer. On this page, you'll find some photos I took during conference trips.
In June 2025, I went to a conference in Aveiro, Portugal. The city was absolutely beautiful.

Pictures taken at the Oberwolfach Research Institute for Mathematics (its original name in German is Mathematisches Forschungsinstitut Oberwolfach or MFO for short) and the surrounding forest during a workshop I attended there in December 2024. To quote their website: "[MFO] is an international research centre situated in the German Black Forest. Leading experts from all over the world meet at the Institute in order to pursue their research activities, to discuss recent developments in their field with others, and to generate new ideas."
Geometry, Analysis and Convexity, Sevilla 2022
Universidad de Sevilla, 20-24th June 2022
Mini-Symposium on Geometric Probability and Valuation Theory
TU Wien, Austria, April 20-22 2022

The Massif des Calanques, Marseille, France
To quote Wikipedia: it is "... a wild and rugged terrain stretching from the ninth arrondissement of Marseille to the east towards Cassis, spanning 20 km in length and 4 km in width along the coast. Its highest peak is Mont Puget at 565m. The area has been protected by a national park since 2012."
My first ever conference abroad was "Differential Geometry, Billiards, and Geometric Optics" at The Centre International de Rencontres Mathématiques (CIRM) in Marseille, France during October 2021. The Calanques was within walking distance of the institute.

In Fall 2022, I was attending a semester-long program at the Institute for Computational & Experimental Research in Mathematics (ICERM), which is part of Brown University, in Providence, Rhode Island. The first two pictures below are from Providence, Rhode Island, and the last pictures is a view of New York City from the Empire State Building at night.
In June 2023, I attended a conference in Cortona, Italy. We stayed in a palace-turned-research-center.
We were in Salzburg, Austria, for a conference from September 25 – 29, 2023. This also corresponded with my wife's birthday.
