As a volunteer writer for Stockton University’s student-run newspaper, I authored multiple published articles covering campus life, student perspectives, and faculty insights. This role involved conducting interviews, meeting tight deadlines, and gaining hands-on experience with journalistic writing, research, and editorial standards.
At Stockton’s Community Day in Atlantic City, I served as both a live broadcast anchor and social media content creator. I delivered scripted segments to a live audience via teleprompter, produced timely social media content throughout the event, and collaborated with a team to ensure smooth execution. This experience strengthened my skills in on-camera communication, fast-paced content creation, and teamwork under pressure.
I volunteered as a reporter at Stockton’s Regional Arts and Culture Summit, where I attended breakout sessions to cover key discussions, interviewed guest speakers, and created a Sway story for Stories of Atlantic City. This experience deepened my reporting skills and allowed me to capture and share the voices of local artists and cultural leaders.
