Coach Dylan Skinner

Welcome to my website! My name is Dylan Skinner. I have been a physical education teacher and coach in the School District of Newberry County since 2016. During my time with SDNC, I have served as an assistant varsity baseball coach, assistant varsity football coach (quarterbacks), head JV baseball coach, middle school athletic director, head middle school football coach, assistant middle school volleyball and girls basketball coach, and physical education teacher at Newberry Elementary School and Newberry Middle School. I am also currently the head baseball coach for the Chapin/Newberry Legion baseball. Prior to my time with SDNC, I attended and graduated from USC Upstate in 2016 with an undergraduate degree in physical education, and obtained a Master’s Degree in Sport Administration from Arkansas State University in 2019. I am a two-time state champion as a player and coach at my high school Alma Mater, Gilbert High School, where I began my coaching career as a high school football and baseball coach.
