About Me

Hello, my name is Dylan Romero and I will be a junior at Brookfield Central the fall of 2023!I am a multi-sport athlete; I was a basketball and soccer varsity starter Freshman year. However, I try to prioritize basketball as I want to play in college.Sports, especially basketball, have always been a large part of my life. I played Jr. Lancers (3rd-8th grade) and my Catholic School team (5th-8th grade).I also played AAU every summer since then with 1on1 Milwaukee coached by Nikki Nellen.

On the Court

I believe I am a versatile player in the way that I can bring up the ball, shoot, and play solid defense.I pride myself on having good court vision and smart passes. I can finish through contact and drive strong to the hoop. I also believe I have a high basketball IQ because I can perform and make the right plays in pressure situations. I also pride myself on having good defense. I can defend all positions (1-5). I always strive to give my all on the floor especially by getting steals and rebounds on defense.Lastly, I believe I am a very coachable and team player. I am always trying to become a better athlete, teammate, and player and help the teams I play on.

Additionally, in eighth grade, I found success on both of my teams (Jr. Lancers and my Catholic School team).

We won the eighth grade Division 1 State Championship.

We won the Padre Serra Tournament (large tournament for Catholic Schools teams in the area).
