M.S. Geology
Haven (she/her) applies her GIS and participatory research background to statewide water quality modeling. She's developing machine learning skills to support community-centered environmental monitoring that centers Indigenous data sovereignty, Traditional Ecological Knowledge, and climate work from a language of radical 'care'. Drawing from 5+ years of experience, Haven hopes to develop technical tools that serve community needs rather than extract from them. She aims to advance computational methods that integrate multi-generational and co-produced knowledge systems in support of community-led climate adaptation and interdisciplinary research.
