Dylan Blaskey, EIT

I am a Physical Scientist at the U.S. EPA researching the nexus of climate change, hydrology, and communities.

My research interests include mechanistic and AI/ML hydrologic and hydrodynamic modeling, river discharge and temperature dynamics, river ice, sediment transport, water quality, remote sensing, and co-production.

Welcome!

My name is Dylan Blaskey (he/him). I am currently a Physical Scientist at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. I am part of the Landscape and Aquatic Systems Modeling Branch where I work on national water quality modeling. My research focuses on large scale computational hydrology documenting the risk to historically excluded communities, with specific interest in how climate change will affect river systems and the people who depend on these rivers. Previously, I have researched green infrastructure, coastal restoration, water quality, and nearshore hydrodynamics.Â
