At the start of the CB craze, many eyeballs took place in various Border towns - Souter City, Jersey City, The Waverley Line, Double L , Rosebowl and many others.
Soon, CB clubs sprung up all over the Borders, Including the Ettrick Forest Breakers Club, Borders Breakers and a host of others.
With high sunspot activity in the mid 80's DX'ing became popular, the Border Reivers being one of the earliest DX networks in the area.
Later, the Sierra Victors, named for the popular Scotts View (QTH of many meetings ) came along with well-supported convoys all over the place, and DXeditions being organised. This was the original Sierra Victor QSL.
