How to use

The instruction file of the software is in C:\DW_test\menu\menu.pdf.
You can see the instruction of the software in detail.

1.Models

The software has four models shown below.

2.Example

Open the software and the screenshots show the processes.

Select Model 1

Type "1" and then click "ending".

Setup the parameters

In this example, type the sample number is "2", autocorrelation coefficient is "0", and the time lag is "1". Then click "ending".

Automatically run and save outcomes

After running completely, the outcomes are saved in the text files.

See DW_r_output.txt file including the info, critical values, outcomes of the law of large numbers.

Outcome

DW_r_output.txt file also describes the locations of the data of the DW test statistic (X2) and sample autocorrelation coefficient (X3).

Import text file to Excel and plot graph

Import the data of pdf and cdf for X2 and X3 into Excel. Then plot the data as graph.

3.Where is source code

The source code is put in C:\DW_test\progarm and is programmed by C.

4.Where is the data or the outcomes

The text files of the outcomes are in C:\DW_test\data.

As to the Model III or Model IV, independent variable(s) is needed. Input independent variable data in C:\DW_test\independent\independent.txt (see page 11).
