Tryouts

Tryouts are open to any 9th – 12th grade female golfer attending Desert Vista High School.

Tryouts will be held the week of August 7, 2023.
Tryouts are comprised of practice drills, on the course skills as well as 9-hole scores at Foothills Golf Club.

Interested in trying out for the DV Girls Golf Team?

Players must be prepared and dressed in appropriate golf attire. Please come equipped with your own equipment, close toed shoes, plenty of water, sunscreen, and other heat & sun protection items.

By completing the interest form, you will also be added to the email list, so we can keep you updated on important dates and facilitate providing updated information and organizing quality tryouts.

This is a varsity cut sport. Due to the competitiveness of Division I golf in Arizona, it is possible that not every golfer will make the team.

All golfers must have the following athletic clearance documents UPLOADED to your registermyathlete.com account and VERIFIED PRIOR to the first day of tryouts.

Forms must be completed and verified by our Desert Vista Athletic Secretary

1. Login in to your account on Register My Athlete (or create an account for new users)

2. Complete AIA Physical Form Packet

4. Concussion / Brain Book / Opioid Courses ... electronic documents

5. Consent for Emergency Care form

6. Consent to Treat form

7. Birth Certificate (required for new team members)
