Slideshow Portfolios are now done with either PowerPoint, Google Slides, Apple Keynote (Links to an external site.) or LibreOffice Impress, and are now one of the cheapest and easiest formats to create and share (Links to an external site.). They also can form a basis for making PDF portfolios and Video Portfolios. PowerPoint is included in the Microsoft Office software that you as a DVC student can download (Links to an external site.) freely to your own computer, and Google Slides (Links to an external site.), Keynote (Links to an external site.) and LibreOffice Impress (Links to an external site.) are all currently free for personal use. If you want a themed layout to make your portfolio appeal to a corporation that wants a more "professional" than "artistic" style good ones can be purchased rather inexpensively, (Links to an external site.) and with some hunting you can even find good free ones! Depending on which software you use, try looking up a few how to videos on your software to get you started. Here are a few to try. Root around YouTube (Links to an external site.) for the ones you need. and when you feel comfortable with starting, begin putting your images into your slideshow.
