This lovely cottage, with its own private beach, is the perfect holiday destination.

 The cottage is located on a private grazing property, a few kilometres from Stokes Bay, on the North Coast of Kangaroo Island. It sits by itself in the small bay and is right on the beach. 

This stone cottage is completely off-grid, with a modern kitchen, gas appliances, a large living area and an outdoor deck visited by the local wildlife, including Wallabies, Possums, Blue Wrens and a friendly Goanna. Glossy Black Cockatoos often feed on the Casuarinas that line the driveway

There are 9 beds in three bedrooms - 1 double bed bedroom, 4 single beds as two fixed bunks in the second room, and three more in the third (a bunk bed, and a single, both fixed). 

There is one shower and toilet. There is no laundry.

The solar/battery electricity is limited to lights and phone chargers only. Part of the serenity is because there is no TV or mobile reception at the cottage. If you need to contact the outside world you can either walk about 200 m up the hill next to the cottage, or sometimes on the main driveway close to North Coast Road.

There is a fish cleaning station on the beach and an outdoor shower behind the cottage.
