Durobuilt was started in 1988 by Brian Hart during this time Durobuilt earned a great reputation for providing robust sheds with great quality builds.  In 2009 Scott Nicholson took over Durobuilt, Scott developed Durbuilt keeping the core things that already made a great shed but added a few tweaks to improve build ability and improve quality even more whilst maintaining the great value fro the customer.  Durobuilts uniqueness comes from a off set knee system i.e.e we bolt the knee web to web this allows simplicity and economy, the Knee braces we use are the most discreet in the industry i.e 1 m across and 1m down that the same as other shed  companies knee plates .....how do we do this well these are not normal knee braces we use heavy duty real steel knee braces from SHS and Pipe bases, this combined with our heavy duty base and apex plates makes fro a unbeatable strong portal frame this is the base of the Durobuilt design then we have our other items attaching by direct fix.  This is quite a difference to other shed companies who normally use many overly complicated light weight brackets and large intrusive knee braces.
