DURABLE - DURABLE Workshop

The DURABLE Workshop will bring together researchers, companies, and institutions to discuss innovative strategies for the recovery and valorisation of critical metals from electronic waste and other urban mines.

The event will take place in Naples, in January 2026, featuring a scientific session on emerging technologies and an industrial session focused on real-case applications and synergies between research and industry.

Participation is free, but seats are limited.

Submissions for poster presentations are now open.
Participants are invited to contribute by presenting their work on critical-raw metal recovery, urban mining, circular processes, and related technologies.

Interested authors are kindly asked to prepare a short abstract using the dedicated template (available at the link below) and submit it by email by

7th January 2026

The abstract must be sent both in .docx and .pdf format, and the files should be named using the surname of the presenting author (e.g. Rossi.docx, Rossi.pdf).

The official language of the workshop is Italian; however, abstracts, posters, and the text of the presentations may also be written in English.

Accepted contributions will be presented during the workshop's poster session, giving you an opportunity for direct discussion with both academic and industrial participants.
