About Us

Apiere was formed in May of 2021 as Duo Airlines to serve the sim aviation market. Founder Pierce Krone, who also acts as Team Principal for Krone Autosport, decided to embark on the adventure to create a new simulation-based airline.

The name Duo came from the successful Krone Autosport organization, where Steven Krone and Pierce Krone make up the head of the program. Apiere was chose as our rebranding, which simply means Aspire. Being able to replicate the success of Krone Autosport with Apiere is the objective, while carrying Virtue, Service, and Class as our core aspirations.
