Radial Tyres or Bias-Ply Tyres

The terms radial and bias-ply refer to the type of construction of the tyre. In the case of radial tyres, the cords run at a 90-degree angle, and this orientation results in a more flexible structure. On the other hand, a bias-ply tyre comprises multiple rubber pliers that overlap each other, with cords running at a 45-degree angle. This results in a criss-cross diagonal pattern and provides a rigid structure for the tyre. It is better to stick to the type of tyres recommended by the OEM.
