Key PC Components
A Faceless E-Learning Video Using AI Voiceover
This project involved developing a 2-minute faceless YouTube explainer video designed to introduce beginners to the essential components of a desktop computer. My goal was to demystify complex technical information, making it accessible and understandable for a non-technical audience.
Key contributions to the learning experience design included:
Targeted Scripting for Novices: Developed a concise script that focused on the primary function of each PC component, avoiding excessive technical jargon. The script followed a standard knowledge-sharing structure (Intro, Hook, Body, Conclusion, CTA) to guide learners smoothly.
Enhanced Visual Instruction: Utilized carefully selected B-rolls and modern graphics (updated to 2024 standards) to visually illustrate each component's appearance and location, crucial for visual learners. Consistency in color and style was maintained to enhance professionalism and reduce cognitive load. A summarizing table with consistent icons in the conclusion aided information retention.
Optimized Auditory Experience: Employed CapCut PC's AI Text-to-Speech with a cheerful, slightly sped-up male voice to maintain engagement and prevent boredom. This ensured clear narration without the need for a human voice-over, offering a scalable solution. Strategic sound design (glitch sound effects for transitions, upbeat background music with ducking) reinforced visual cues and kept the learner focused.
Accessibility & Engagement: Implemented subtitles for broad accessibility, acknowledging varied viewing environments. Dynamic text overlays with customized glitch effects were used to draw attention to key component names, aiding recall and emphasis. Consistent transitions (glitch for external, fade to black for internal) provided visual continuity and a polished learning flow.
This project showcases my ability to translate technical concepts into digestible, engaging, and visually rich educational content, optimizing for clarity and learner retention.
