Welcome to My Homepage!
I am a researcher at the College of Health Sciences, VinUniversity, and an adjunct lecturer at the Waseda Institute for Advanced Study (WIAS), Waseda University. Before joining VinUniversity, I was an Assistant Professor at WIAS and the Keio Global Research Institute (KGRI), Keio University. I also worked as a Lecturer at the Faculty of Economics, National Economics University. I received my Ph.D. in Public Policy from the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS), Japan.
My research lies at the intersection of health economics and development economics. I use quasi-experimental and applied econometric methods to study how public policies, socioeconomic conditions, environmental and weather shocks affect health, well-being, and development across the life course, from maternal and child health to aging, retirement, and long-term care.
