Dune QR (“the App”) is a QR code scanning and generation utility application developed and maintained by CodeHabibi (“we,” “our,” or “us”).

Dune QR does not require user registration and does not collect personally identifiable information such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, or account credentials.
QR codes scanned or generated using Dune QR are processed locally on your device.
QR content (including text, URLs, contact details, Wi-Fi credentials, or other encoded data) is not transmitted to our servers.
Scan history and generated QR history are stored only on the user’s device and can be cleared at any time.
We do not access, monitor, upload, or analyze QR content.
The App may collect limited non-personal and anonymized information, such as:
Device model and operating system version
App usage events (e.g., QR scanned, QR generated)
Crash reports and performance diagnostics
This information is collected only to improve app stability and performance.
Dune QR includes an optional AI Search feature that allows users to share QR code content with third-party AI applications installed on their device or with browser-based AI services.
Key points:
This feature is entirely user-initiated.
QR content is shared only after the user explicitly taps the “Ask AI” option and selects a target app or browser.
Dune QR does not process, store, analyze, or transmit QR content to any external servers.
Once QR content is shared, its handling is governed by the privacy policy of the selected third-party application or website.
Dune QR has no control over how third-party AI services use shared data.
Dune QR uses Google AdMob to display advertisements, including banner, interstitial, and rewarded ads.
AdMob may collect:
Advertising ID
Device information
Ad interaction data
Approximate location (country/region level)

Measure ad performance
Prevent fraud and abuse

Ads are displayed in accordance with Google Play and AdMob policies.
Rewarded ads are optional and shown only after explicit user action.
Watching rewarded ads may temporarily unlock premium features (such as AI Search or advanced QR tools) or remove ads for a limited time.
Ads are never shown during QR scanning, permission requests, or sensitive input screens.
Dune QR requests only the permissions necessary for core functionality:
Used exclusively for scanning QR codes.
Access is active only during scanning.
Used to save generated QR codes or exported images to your device.
No files are accessed without user action.
No permissions are used for background data collection or tracking.
We do not sell, rent, or trade user data.
Data may be shared only in the following situations:
With Google services (AdMob and Firebase) as described above
When the user explicitly chooses to share QR content with third-party apps (such as AI services)
If required by law or legal process
We take reasonable measures to protect user data:
QR data remains stored locally on the device
No backend servers or cloud storage are used
Secure Android APIs are used for data handling
However, no method of electronic storage is completely secure.
Dune QR does not target children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
