Welcome. I am a Professor in Practice at the LSE's International Development, Director (with Tom Kirk) of the LSE's Activism, Influencing and Change Programme and Director of the Global Executive Leadership Initiative's Influencing Programme. I consult as a 'critical friend' to the Building Community Engagement in Papua New Guinea programme. From 2004-2024, I worked for Oxfam GB, first as head of research, then as Strategic Adviser, where I was probably best known for my From Poverty to Power blog. Here's my photo CV slide for students, for your amusement.
