Burial Search

Welcome to Dunbarton's Cemetery Burial Search, which consists of the names of the buried in all the Dunbarton Public Cemeteries, and maps of each cemetery. All the files open in Adobe PDF format. These files can be enlarged in Adobe for larger print. 

To get started, 

1. Open the Alphabetical Burial Names file and locate the name you are searching for. 

2. Once you find the individual's name, you will see information of the cemetery they are in.

3. Open the cemetery map indicated. 

4. Using the Section and Burial Lot # from the Alphabetical Burial Names file you will be able to locate that grave on the specific map which can be used to locate the grave in the cemetery.

5. Using Find A Grave (findagrave.com), in most cases you can find a picture of the headstone and additional information of the buried.

Although headstones and markers are not included with the search, most are available at Find A Grave (findagrave.com). The last column of the Alphabetical Burial Names file will indicate if that name is found in Find A Grave. As time goes on we will be adding more individuals and their headstone to Find A Grave.
