Dads at the Door is an opportunity for father figures to join us once a month at Dunaway Elementary and welcome our students at the door.

We are excited to once again host a morning of fun for our students with the Polar Express Experience at Dunaway Elementary!

Students will be able to wear their dress code appropriate pajamas to school on Wednesday, December 13 and "hop" aboard the Polar Express and enjoy a cookie and hot chocolate.

Waxahachie ISD invites community members to visit Pre-K thru 5th grade classrooms in celebration of our 27th annual Drop Everything And Read Day (D.E.A.R. Day) on Friday, March 8, 2024!  If you are unable to read to our students on March 8, but would like to be a part of D.E.A.R Day, you can make a donation which will help with the purchase of books.  Click on the link below for more information.

Join us for an evening of ocean-themed fun for the whole family on Thursday, April 11! Remedy Church has generously agreed to sponsor complimentary hamburgers & hotdogs, chips, water bottles, and snow-cones for staff, students, and family members attending the event.
