Welcome Students to our Islamic Studies Corner.

My name is Ayesha Mahmood. I have been teaching Islamic studies in DU since 2017. I am passionate about the subject. I have completed a Bachelor's program in Islamic Studies at Knowledge international University and also completed a Higher Diploma in Islamic studies at Islamic Online University and a special Aqeedah courses with Shaikh Murtuza of Saudi Arabia. I am currently doing BSc. in Psychology. My main goal is to help you understand Oneness of the Lord, and why we worship Him. I will cover Aqeedah, history, worship and Adaab (manners). InshAllah I will help you strengthen the foundations of your deen and to be proud of your Muslim Identity.

I hope you have a wonderful year in learning about your religion and your Lord with me. May Allah accept from us our efforts and make it easy for us in understanding them.

Grading Policy

Late Submit Policy

Any assignment submitted later than the given due date.

1 day late - loss of 10% of total grade

2 days late - loss of 10% of total grade

3 days and up - Loss of 50%

Class expectations

Be in the class On time
Be ready with your Supplies. Notes, sharpen pencils,etc
Be RESPECTFUL and mindful to everyone and everything.
Be Attentive. Listen with your Eyes, Ears and Heart. You can focus better when your body is calm.
Uphold Islamic values in EVERYthing you do.

Behavior Policy

Inappropriate and unislamic behavior will Not be tolerated. I follow the same school discipline policy as the whole school. After the verbal warning, Demerit is granted as per the offense. After 3 discipliary offense, student will be reported to the admin office and parents will be involved.
