To steer clear of this issue, select a container a bit larger than you think you require.
For example, a standard 8’ x 10’ woodshed with a gable roof can consist of about 100 2×4 & 2×6 boards for the frame besides siding, roof trusses, trim, flooring, hardware, shingles and windows.
Unnecessary to say, that is so much trash to discard, and generally a Bagster or equally sized bag dumpster won’t cut it for this project.
A ten-yard container can manage most shed demolition projects.
For a standard shed size – 8×8, 8×10, 10×12, etc. – a ten yarder will probably manage the clean-up process with room to spare.
Some dumpster rental firms provide other options, such as 12yd, 15yd, trailer dumpsters, or other less common sizes.
