Our Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) works in partnership with our school to promote the interests of our school community.
Joining the P&C is a great way to meet other families, get involved and contribute to our school's future.

FAQs
Do I have to be a paid member to attend a P&C meeting?
Nope! Only if you want to vote (and if there is something to vote on). All community members are welcome at all meetings.
Do I have to be a paid member to volunteer?
Nope! You can volunteer at 1 or 100 events and not be a paid member of the P&C. You can volunteer and never even come to a meeting.
What is a quorum?
The minimum number of members of an assembly or society that must be present at any of its meetings to make the proceedings of that meeting valid.
What is the quorum for votes at P&C meetings?
If there are below 50 paid members, then 5 paid members need to be physically present at the meeting for a vote to go head (to reach quorum). If there are above 50 paid members, then 10 paid members need to be physically present at the meeting for a vote to go ahead.
Why can't I vote on Zoom?
You can and you can't. The current P&C Federation rules favour in-person voting, and only count zoom votes if there is not a majority physically present. The Federation is currently reviewing this rule and we hope that it will be updated for next year to include votes on Zoom at all meetings.
If you would like to write to P&C Federation about this issue, or others, contact us or the federation directly www.pandc.org.au
